Quritis has carried out a pre-seed financing round raising SEK 3 million. The initial intention was to raise SEK 2,5 Million, but after considerable interest the amount was capped at SEK 3 Million. The money comes mainly from angel investors with good knowledge of the SaaS and cybersecurity landscape. The funds will expand the technology team to help launch the first commercial release of the service.
Quritis investors include Johan Qviberg’s investment company, Simon Josefsson (Yubico, Forseeti), Jimmy Lundström (founder of Refined), and Christopher Suarez (early investor in Einride) and a few more.
”- We are happy to have gained so much expertise in the SaaS and cyber security industry right from the start and look forward to accelerating the development of our service on behalf of our future customers”, says Hannes Ullman, co-founder and CEO.
Konrad Eriksson, Chief Technology Officer, and co-founder, say: “Cyber attacks are rapidly increasing in volume while becoming increasingly sophisticated. New technology is required to increase protection against attacks, which is the technology we are building on Quritis. By protecting every part of the software chain, we can offer better and more sophisticated protection even for complex technology otherwise very vulnerable.”
Simon Josefsson, angel investor, says: ”IT security is becoming increasingly important, not least with the current world situation. Quritis has an interesting and proactive solution that improves the security of the cloud-based operation of complex services, where Linux has become the main platform. I look forward to helping the team realize the great potential I see in the product.”
